As a successful, 3-sport athlete in high school, I was blessed to lead as a captain, become a state record-holder in football, and go on to play Division II college football. Today, being married with 4 children, the role of athletics has necessarily changed. However, I continue to keep my mind and body sharp through weightlifting, surfing in the frigid waters of Lake Superior (yes, it’s a thing), and training jiu jitsu as a blue belt. At this stage of life, I enjoys serving as a Christian counselor and performance coach to athletes. I work with men who want to rebuild energy, confidence, and momentum – helping them translate discipline, faith, and structure into steadier leadership at work and at home through consistent action and intentional daily practices.

Today, my work as a life coach for athletes blends lived experience with professional training. That combination allows my sports life consulting to be grounded, practical, and deeply personal.

At the same time, experience alone isn’t enough. My background includes a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as an M.Div. degree at Seminary. This training has equipped me to help guide men towards their goals using the very best of both Biblical and psychological principles.
